Sorry to hijack, but how abou the viper?
.012-.014" is on the average for the 2 motors, it comes down to manufactures tolerance, meaning the parts,cylinders,cases and such meet a general spec, it can vary a thousandth or 2 or even 3, either way so one is not exactly the same as the other, but all fall within a general spec from factory.
