As I told you guys, I purchased a set of PowerInc pipes from a member on this site and I got the min the other day. Now, my sled isn't even close to ready yet but I just NEEDED to hear these pipes. I did not run it long because I don't have any coolant in the system and The jetting is to lean for the pipes. Here it is.

Forgot to mention it is also a 18 pound weight loss over the stock exhaust system.

SAWEEeeeT, sounds really, really good! Just don't stop for the DNR!!
Trust me, that stuff about you can't out run the radio is crap. Has worked well for me in the past! Except for last year when I was riding with a bunch of trail slugs. They ticketed me for loud exhaust, and basically is stock with a bender can, thats not that loud at all.
Ended up handing out six tickets to the whole group, and didn't even have a Db meter, all visual check. If you think any of us are going back too Iron county wisconsin (Hurley), sorry ain't gonnna happen. While i'm at it, oh yea all the logging roads were plowed down to the gravel!

Sorry for the rant, Steveo

how are you coming along setting up those power inc's...?do you think a set off of an sx would fit in a srx....?thought i'd throw that out there since they are more readily available.

It is coming along but not very fast. I am still doing many mods to these pipes in order for them to work they way I want. First thing I did was bend a nail and weld it on for my hood wire so now I have somewhere to put it on. Other then that, on these pipes, there is a connector or L pipe on I believe #2 that I need to modify by cutting up and welding some bends in it. This was a problem because this pipe was sitting on the belt drive and I needed to space them out. I am going to run Main jets of (cylinder #1 150, cylinder #2 148.8, cylinder #3 148.8) which is way rich off of the (146.3, 145,145) I was running with stock pipes. I am also going to bump my pilots from 42.5 to 45's across the board. I will definitely keep you all updated on how they work out but I am extremely excited.

Cool. Can't wait to hear a reliable story of how the Power Inc pipes actually work on the SRX. It's always a plus making power while saving weight at the same time.

Good luck

From the dyno results i have been reading (and hopefully it will be backed up this winter) the Power Inc make considerably more torque and increase the bottom and mid range power alot. They also seem to increase the top end Hp by about 4-5 HP on the dyno so they appear to be the ticket. Not to mention they drop 18 pounds;)!
