Viper at Grass Drags

Hey guys, I traveled about 6 hours away to a grass drag/watercross race and i'd like to thank Mr.viper and Turk again for helping me achieve 1st place in 700 mod and 3rd place in 800 mod. 800 Mod I lost to a xcr 800 people were claiming had 200 something psi and 225 horsepower...and a crankshop ski-doo. 700 Mod 02 srx was second and a F7 was 3rd.There was a total of about 50 sleds so it was an alright outcome. THanks again guys

not sure what my time was...didn't check it for some reason but they were running timers..and yes there was a big arctic-cat sponsored team there and one of my pit helpers over heard a guy saying "poor old viper" when I was racing thier F7 that was in the final for the 700 mod..the f7 was about at my snow flap across the line. I was very suprised..but the viper was impressing alot of people there..I was very impressed at the endo f the day. I think my reaction time was very good too...and another thing that helped was my suspesion set-up, the sled never lifted a ski and just hooked up and went.I apprieciate the help guys!
 
well I have it set-up for 500ft, 20/39 gearing,51/45 helix silver secondary spring, hauck orange in the primary(3) shims, 8ca weights with .8 inner and 2.7 outter, 192 new chisel tooth studs, v-force 3 reeds.Thats about it, i'll be changing it soon for 1000ft ice runs.
 
haha I really apprieciate the help tho, I need a totallyamaha sticker for sure because up at the races I told people that if it wasn't for totallyamaha and mr.viper and turk my sled wouldn't be competing with these sleds that have twice the money i've got into mine..all i've gotta say is you guys know your S+*^!!

Amen to that brother. The hard part is compeating with the other 100 thousand members who are pumping them for information as well. Glad to here there is hope for my 04 Viper I was considering trading her in for a new Apex.
 
yeah there was an apex there, 2005 or maybe 2006...anyways it was black with red flames..the sled worked great, sounded awsome..but to be honest with you, it raced the f1000 and got its @$$ handed to it...competitve to the f7 maybe...properly set-up now thats a machine i'm sure..across the lake that sled will haul
