does anyone here have any input on this mod? going to long travel the rear of my 99 srx 700(with stock ohlins up front) and want the front to sit a little higher to match the rear. anybody long travel just the rear? how does it work? i know i will drop a little mph on the top but that does not matter to me. can i install these extensions myself. any special tools needed? thanks everybody!!

I ran the expert x in my srx rear last year with the ohlins with extensions in the front. I didnt have a problem with the way it rode one bit. This year i flipped my shock mounts and the front end sits a few inches higher. If you are doing the shocks id recomend you do the shock mount flip too..
Get with RichieRich im sure he can hook you up with some extensions and instructions on how to install. I think he said you can do it yourself with some wood.....(i know that sounds bad)

I run the extensions on my SRX and could notice a difference. I had a machine shop make a tool out of aluminum to hold the shock in place when installing the extensions.

does anybody have some pics of their sx or srx with long travel rear with shock extensions up front? love so see how it looks!!hows the handling? to much insde ski lift to the point that it makes the sled feel unstable or tippy?

Noticed a difference in taller ride height. Sled liked to bottom and now does so a lot less.
