Hauck 800 with 38TM, Jetting
Hi,
Just like to get start point for jetting. Begining it will be with stock pipes and aftermarket can. Premium fuel.
Now there is 410 mains inside that has been used with out air-box.
If you have any input for 800 jetting (trail ported) for trails(with air-box), i would be clad.
Edit: sea-level
Reimond.

Do you have hooded needles? Look at the needle jet, with the slide up, there will be a brass plate sticking up if you do.
Yes, there is plate sticking up

Reimond,
I would not run the stock air box with those carbs, it will be very rich up on full throttle. My airbox is gutted. I will have too look it up in my note book tomorrow, i'm not home right now so I'll get back tomorrow night.

Thank's.
At the moment, i do not have filtters/box in place. Running 390 mains... just made short test and they are almoust right.

Yes,
With a totaly gutted airbox, I've got needles all the way up, 380 mains, and i didn't write down the pilot size, so i'm not sure what it was. My stock pipes have increased stinger size to 1.080" inside diameter, stock size is 1.000", not sure if that makes a big difference?
Cheers, Steveo

Not sure what the needle number was. They are the stock needles that came in 1999 mach Z.
