Come on now bryant, you know better then that, that is a false statement. F7's are way over rated and I have yet to find one beat me at any distance. They are light and how good torque but have lower topspeeds.sxviper32 said:the f7's are.
The Mach's are pretty fast and will be faster then some SRX's, thundercats should be faster, apex's should be faster, and others that I can't think of. What other sleds are faster then the SRX in the same cc range........None.

f-7 not even close... i have seen a vector take a f-7 out of the hole where they are supposed to shine... the srx will smoke it if it hooks up like that vector does!

hey now, i love yamaha and all, but those f7's come pretty close to ragged edge from factory and they are quick sob's. ragged leaves the longevity out of question, but they do win on the stock vs stock shoot outs.

03 f7s were pretty fast.
All depends on set up of course, but I would give the nod to the SRX against all 3 of these, but watch out for the Mach Z tripple though that one could be very close.jaysV-MaxSx700canada said:OK whats faster then a srx stock, vrs stock besides other yamaha's

This was an 03 f-7 and the vector took it for the first 200 feet every run, then the cat slowly pulled away. Not to mention the person on the vector was a girl! My bet will always be on teh srx

I have a friend with a 2003 F7 that is clutched 144 carbide picks. It has one of those reprogramed cdi boxes for 500 ft grass drag racing on it. He weighs like 160 and with that box he is very tough to beat. Now I will agree without the box (stock cdi) I might go with the srx.

i know those f8's are pretty quick, ran with my buddies well-set up 98 srx. My well set up vipre ran about a ski length ahead of both in 400ft.Winning mod. 700 class
