my scissor arms are frooze up on my boys phazer, Cant get the bolts out ..tried everything . I need to put a shim kit in it. Any suggestions on how to get them bolts out?

14mm impact socket on a good air wrench. been there. Maxdlx

Been there........ taken the whole assembly off and soaked in P.B. Blaster for a week, sometimes Heat or a press works, sometimes nothing works..... and you end up with a broken knuckle. The bolt freezes to the metal bushing inside the knuckle and becomes one solid shaft ! Biggest problem with the T.S.S. is lack of grease on the shaft and bushing and after they stop turning the plastic shims quickly wear out. I grease them every couple years and they stay tight almost forever. And People wonder why the suspension has no give ! ? ! Good luck and b.t.w. I have good used knuckles and bushings.

ya ..the problem is that its a allen head bolt , not 14 mm, so it does present a problem,

What a headache!!! I had a Phazer that I had to drill out the bolts and bushings and then weld the holes in and redrill and tap to the right size..Lots of swearing and beer !!!! Good Luck ...
