While looking over my sled today I was wondering about ways to lighten it up and thought about taking the saddles off and drilling some small holes in them to remove a bit of weight.I know this may seem quite minor as they are made of aluminum to start with but whatever I could get off for weight should in theory be a benefit, right?Any thoughts?

Wouldn't waste your time, you are talking about 2-4 oz which doesn't mean anything. Make up this weight by taking a pee before you race. Not worth the effort IMO.

If he took a dump before the race, he would lose way more then 2-4 oz, I was trying to think of something with relative weight loss, like spitting in a can for 5 minutes before you race.bluemonster1 said:That is good 2000srx,but he could go much faster if he took a dump also.Less weight =more speed.LMAO

With all 3 factors put into play, speed would increase dramatically. Would you not agree.
can you feel it
