whos faster stock srx or stock 2003 ZR800 EFI or Sno-pro,
my moneys on the zr much better hook up. But i feel the srx would start to catch up on a long lake.
also how much faster is a zr900, is the f7 and f6 fast compared to srx

your money is gone man...the srx v.s the zr from a dead stop..i'm assuming on a hard packed trail, the srx and zr would most likely only see each other til 20-30 mph and the srx would have a hard pull on it the whole way, atelast i know my viper would and the srx isn't far behind, the zr 900 is junk...i have a buddy with an 04 zr 900 and it wouldn't pass an f7 for the life of it on the grass..an f7 is a good race for the srx...my viper with slp pipes and set-up correctly will take an f7 the whole way...been there done that..

I ran this race.My stock unstudded 02 srx vs my buddies stock 02 zr800 cc efi and my other buddies 02 mxz 800.We raced on a little lake in tug hill. They were studded so they pulled me by about 5 sled lengths out of the hole,by the time we got half way across the lake i blew right by them.My buddy on the mxz was shocked,he said "I heard those srx's were fast but i didnt expect that at all".

humm, i dont think a stock vyper would even come close to a zr, considering they have like 25 more hp and there lighter and have better transfer.

If your read he said nothing about a stock Viper. A Viper with SLPs or any aftermarket pipes with the right set-up is a whole new story.

I don't think I have ever even heard of a stock ZR 800 coming close to 130 mph. Thats probably 15-20 mph too much.

i actually just bought a 01 zr 800.so i own both these sleds (i got it cheap) but this is the carb model.& it is also race ported, bored carbs, shaved heads.v-force reeds & blah blah blah yata yata yata you get the point.this sled is extremely fast hinse the reason i boguht it.have seen it wun many raes on the grass. anyway long story short even with the extra power to the track this sled is getting.. it hooks up better..so i would say even stock vs stock the zr will take it out of the hole.but the srx will outrun it after 60mph..& last alot longer as well.theres my story & im sticking to it.

He asked about a stock SRX not a stock viper, and i'm comparing the stock srx to a PIPED viper where as its more comparison, and I've racing both the zr 800's and the 900's and the f7's and 6's on the grass, and the 900 on Portage Lake, maine, and i'll tell ya if the viper is set up right, like the guys on here know how to do and are willing to help, the viper will take the 900 the whole way, and def out pulls it top end, the 900 big bores were not very fast on top end.
