I was looking in the work log and i saw Ejcamaro's 98 srx. I want to make my gauges the same. How do i get the covers off? What kind of light is behind the gauges?

I had to pry off the lens ring to get to the faceplate. They are sealed from the factory VERY well and are hard to remove without damaging the gauge. After that I taped up the needles and sprayed tranparent blue over the entire faceplate. The blue leds are installed in the back of the gauge. They are 194 style bulbs.
edit- Take your time with a small screwdriver or knive while prying the lens ring off. Try to start removing it on the very bottom of the gauge where any marring will be hard to see. I sat down and watched spongebob for an hour while I slowly worked mine apart.
