Wondering what you all use for weights and what gives you the best aggressive trail performance, looking for top end also...turk?8ca's no good for top end?

It Depends

Of course, the weights depend on what you are doing. In my vipers I have had great luck with 40-10BY Heel Clickers, 8BU-10's and 8DN-20's. What kind of riding do you do?

alot of wide open throttle trails here..but then there are some twisty woods but real flat trails with lots of space to get up some speed

8ca,s are fine with a lot of tip weight & a helix with a shallow finishing angle. I have seen guys win radar runs with 8bu,s (similar profile) set up properly. Most guys that are not getting good top end usually are not clutched properly.

I believe PRO116 has a set of DN8-20 for sale, not compeltly positive. But send him a PM. These are the weights I'll be running in my SLP piped Viper. I do all trail and off trail riding.

turk, how much weight would you guess with the 8ca's-2.4 tip as you said or more?i'm going to try them anyway, leave the inner rivet out

With a 51/45 ; taller gearing & green secondary spring a 2.4 or .8 in tip should be close.
