Lets see pics of your long travelled SRX. I've got a viper skid and SXR front shocks on the way, so i'm getting pretty anxious!

home built brackets, cut bellypan for clearance. the shocks in the picture are xt shocks, it had ohlins long travels on it till i sold it, these were the cheapest thing i could replace them with. the sled has viper front and rear takeoffs on it now, friend owns it. loved to stop at dealers with that sled and listen to the comments.

ski, is that a 144" tunnel extension or a 136"? looks a little long, thought it might be a 141-144 extension. looks good tho!

skidooboy, so up front you only have the extensions on the stock Ohlins? any adjustments have to be made on the front geometry.(camber ect)?

it was a 141-144 ext. i chose the longer ext in case i decide to go longer with the rails down the road. plus i like the length for a rack, and snow ingestion for the roof of the tunnel cooler. (personal preference)
stock srx ohlins with advantage edge extensions. we had to change the camber and toe to help the dual runner skis work on the pro action front. to make it 100% you could argue more would need to be done with the radius rods, but for the application, it worked well for me. ski

Betheviper, just saw in another post (and in maxx and pioneer's book) that with long trav. susp in srx/sx ride height is close to stock! i want my 99 srx to sit like yours!! will i get the same resuls as those pics you have with xtc rears and ohlins ext. up front?

the reason it looks so high in the picture is, the sled is on pavement and the front end was lifted over, the carbides are holding it up, as well as the xt springs are stiff and there is no way to get any more preload off them. it didnt handle as good with these shocks on it. the ohlins with the preload off made it sit lower and handle better. the rear would settle down when you sat on it. just a little over stock height when riding.

Hey, Got your PM..... Here's the sled with BTV's front shock ride height fix.
Also done: Viper trailing arms w/ 05 saddle less skis (awesome bite)
Light weight magnesium rad rods w/ hiems in & out. (Very tight now)
Has the Viper rear skid now, but that's going to be changed to a Cat next week
