ok my buddy has a 01 srx with the quick transfer adjustments, but when he maxes them out he still dosnt have any transfer, we drill 2 new holes 3/4" from center of the igsisting holes bring the transfer mount tawards the back wheels so when the sled sits the gap on the transfer rods is maxed to the top. and the tranfer adjuster is as loose as possible.

we did a run in his yard and his skis lifted about 3 feet in the air. woohoo and dug about 6 inches into his nice grass.

But when the sled sits on flat ground the track dosnt sit flat, the back 4 lugs dont touch the ground, he has a 1.25 preditor track, with 192 1.375 studs.

How should we set his suspention, for maximum transfer, he loves wheelies and hasnt been able to do them.

OK to some it up sense it prob dosnt make anysense, how should one set there suspention for maximum transfer.

thanks Jay :letitsnow :2strokes:

well with transfer that high you will be wearing out snubber blocks FAST. when the snubber blocks go thats when your track goes threw the rails and then you go over the bars. i would suggest setting the transfer for only about 6 inches above the ground. Just so you get the ski's off the ground (less drag), Snubber blocks are the black things at the tip of the rails. i suggest you check them immediatly

well it depends on what kinda ridding he does. Race sled would be bagged out all the way , trail sled would proabably start 1/3 of the way.

Start with the front limit straps.Back the nuts allmost to the top then wind the spring tight.Than put the fra on the bottom setting that is soft and back the big spring off if needed. If the transfer rods have two nuts try removing the bottom one than put them back in the origanal hole you went the wrong way when you drilled.Go to the front shocks and give them less pressure on the skis. Not knowing your settings now i am only guessing but you should be able to lift the front bumper and see the sled rock backwords!

you think we went the worng way, by going towards the back wheel we wer able to get the most gap, so now when he stands on the sled the bottom gap is about 1/8" and the top gap is 3/4".

when the transfer rods are in the original hole and he sits on the sled they bottom out.

the way it set now he has 3/4" travel on the rods before they bottom.

as for the suspension im pretty sure hes at the max stiff in the back, we will have to try in the snow sense its hard to tell on the grass.

he mostly trail rides but drags alot, and would rather be set for drag, the trails have alot of straits and we do alot of feild riding.

i know you went the wrong way maybie the centre shock has gone weak and will not hold the rear up any more bottoming out the rods or you have the wrong lenth rods.you want transfer run 11\2 gap modifying the transfer nuts not the bottom mount holes.centre spring tight, rear weak, and fronts weak.

well i will take a pic of the rods that are on it and the way its set up, this weekend, it wouldnt suprise me is his shock was done, he double rides alot.
