How much longer are the Viper radius rods than the srx rods?
If any one has a set around I would appreciate it if you would measure them, and let me know.
I want to make a set for my Long travel SRX.

Thanks,
Jim

You want about 16-3/4" end of rad rod to end of rad rod. I just did a BLT wide front end on mine. You want to end up about 18-5/8" centre of eye to centre of eye. You will also need longer steering rods, and a spacer on each side for the sway bar.

SRXER you rock.

Thanks for reply.
I put some 04 viper shocks on the front and 04 viper skid out back.
The front springs seem a little weak. Any suggestions?
Did you loose much top speed with the Ripsaw?

P.S. Nice Avatar pic.

Thanks,
Jim

I haven't run the Ripsaw much yet, but I figure the Expert will pretty much offset the loss from the big lugs, man the track rolls easy around it. I went with Works on the front of mine. Maybe you could score some new springs reasonable for your Viper shocks? Is that your Banshee? :2strokes:

SRXer that is a Suzuki LT250R with a MXZ583 rotax

That is my "LT583" . I live in southern Ontario where normally the rivers and lakes freeze over for 3 months but we dont get much snow.
So my ATV was not quite fast enough for those 75 mile lake runs so I built this thing my buddies call the creation.
It will run 105 MPH all day long, put the flapper to the bar and hang on.
I was at a drag race event recently and I took it down the quater mile
it went 96MPH in the eigth mile and 102 in the quater @ 12.5 seconds
I drive by most of the sleds around here.

It is no where near as fun as my SRX but when there is no snow I still wanna ride out front in the clean air.

4 strokes are like tampons every pussy has one

Thanks, again for the info
Jim
