Yeah, I was wondering the proper way of doing this, I have the basic understanding but any tricks of sorts?

There is a separate link on the TY home page that takes you to a tech page area. Tech help stuff gets moved here.

follow bethevipers set up tips. it will handle way better than the stock set up as i found out last season.

For toe in, toe out situations, if you can get yourself ahold of any material type piping that has a 5/8" OD and cut it 4 feet or longer and you put that between the spindals. Lines them up perfectly.

i have my sled set this way currently and no offence but the way betheviper tells you how to do it is a much better handling sled. i had it set his way for one weekend and the next weekend was set to yamaha spec. his way carves much better in the trails as i almost smoked a tree expecting it to turn as well as his with it at yamaha spec.

Why would you change it from betheviper's way???

i was concerned i didnt get it set right so i got the yamy dealer to set it to stock before i did our local yamafest. i could tell the diference in the 1st sharp turn. set the way it is though i can let my brother drive it as he weighs 50lb less than i do and my other siblings drinve it as well. so yamy settings on this sled are better in this instance.

Just looked at BetheViper's post in the tech section. That's the way I do mine as well. More familiar with doo, than Yamaha, but we've always used the straightedge method.
