way too high for a 18-2500 around here, 25-3500 is what a 2000-02 would go for
friend has one for 25 with long traveled and bullet proof rear, polished tunnel, clutch kit, 44in fox front end with alot of miles on it

In Canada, you would have a very hard time finding a Srx for under 3000.00 Cdn. If i was in the market for a SRX, i wouldnt hesitate to buy stateside, and deal with import, money conversion, and inspection charges, still would come out ahead. IMO

Yeah for some reason in Canada we are always to pay more for the sleds.Best is to be calm about it,make reasonable offers and if it is not taken, walk away. Then try later again with same offer over and over.If the guy won't just his price,he will own it for time to come, unless he finds a sucker. If he has paperwork that he totally replaced a lot of things on the sled and the machine has not been rolled, maybe it might be worth it. But there is always the engine to worry about. Does this guy just drive hard and recklessly or did he drive with care for the sled.Maintenance records would prove that he really took care of the sled. If I was to sell my SX,I have many bills showing what I have done to mine. Mine has been totally gone over from head to toe. It is like a new sled and reliable. I take care of any sled I own,do others is the question. The reason I bought my SX was because of the guy I worked with.Took it for a ride on day when we both went riding together. I dropped the price a bit and let him think. A few days later he sold it.You can go crazy checking over a sled and drop the price accordingly. Can you say to a guy...the track is in bad shape, that will cost me $800 to rplace with labor. He wont drop it $800.It is buyer beware.I am going to start a thread on how fellow TY members faired when they purchased a used sled.

if its been for sale that long, there's a reason it didn't sell. Its just like real estate, if its priced right, its gone right away...if its too high, it sits...
If he's serious about selling it, he will take a reasonable offer
