I remember a little while back the big thing was to get rid of swaybars on sleds. it seamed like a good idea back then to make it ride better, but I never bother to try it myself by pulling a link.
Now I'm removing my engine, so it will be real easy get rid of it all together.
I'm very heavy with a long torso so I've got to lean quite a bit in the corners reguardless. I'm thinking I'm not getting a whole lot out of the swaybar for cornering as it is.
What do you guys think?

I think you will be surprised once it is gone, how much it actually does. Maxdlx
It will handle uneven bumps better, if thats what your going for. But you may lose more cornering abillity than you want to lose.

Works good in mountain applications where you dont want to fight the suspension to make the sled lean in the powder as in side-hilling. On trail use the machine becomes squirrely and rocks side to side in the mogals.

DON'T DO IT! if you plan on trail riding
the sled WILL roll over bad in the corners!
I unhook one side when I go out west and ride in the mountain deep
but even then it corners like sh1t on the trail with it unhooked
I ALWAYS hook it back up when I get back for trail riding
