Just wondering what you guys think, my buddy has an 03 xcr 800 and has htg pipes on it , my sled has slp pipes,v-force reeds,51/45 helix proper clutching and gearing (150lbs rider).. I could beat him on the grass in 500ft but he wants to go all out top end this winter...what kinda speeds does the viper pull with pipes?I just through the pipes on my sled last year without a tuned in clutch and worn out chisels and seen 129 on the dreammeter on hard packed trails..

better get yourself some 8dn-20 weights, g/w/g yamaha spring, your helix is ok and a grn secondary spring, stock gearing or 23/38 will be good

8dn-20s - 4.5 in both is a good start, some like 3.7 in the tip.
