reed spacers for srx from sx

ok i have a bran new set of reed spacers that i never installed, they where for a 97 sz700 will they fit my buddys srx.

Will reed spacers bring any gains for a srx.

no! nobody uses spacers on srx, they have the right distance from stock!

The spacers will fit & according to a local engine/pipe builder do help the powervalve triples.

I'll put it this way, I had spacers on my SRX and was instructed by a very wise yammy rider/racer to take them off so I did. I am not sure you are going to notice a difference in performance either way but the explanation as to why to take them off of the SRX made sense.

Reed spacers are a band-aid fix for a bad design.

I imagine they'll help airflow through the reeds some, but at the expense of pumping performance.

If you got em sitting there free for the taking, you could try 'em, but even then, I'd just sell them to someone whp could actualy get something out of them.
