bender can on a srx

ok i know there are mixxed feelings on the bender cans actually doing anything.

so how about on a srx

those with expeeriance has it made a difference, even if it dosnt bring power it brings wheight savings also how is the sound.

Weight savings only, what has been told here. Sound is nice but you might need ear-plugs

Bender can sounds sweet. Is a little loud got a ticket last year around portage lake for altering exhaust. A lot lighter but lose a few hp worth the sound. I'll try and get you a sound clip later

it will slow you down.....stay stock! I swear my friend Jon was on turkey pond in nh with a stock can and the bender silencer. and run for run the bender can was slower....stay stock...keep the land owners happy and stay up front ...

I kinda miss my old Bender Can, but it was just too loud for trail riding all day. The sound is awesome, and I got plenty of compliments on it.

I ran one last year and was faster beating my uncle in laws 01 srx 700 out of the hole but since returning to stock I am quite a bit slower than him now. I also think is sounds awsome, sometimes it was a bit too loud going over pavement or roads. I personally dont agree with anyone that says it makes you slower. Or at least it made me faster with the bender can. I ended up selling it but might try to get it back. I gave it away for 50. bucks too. What an idiot I am!

I ran a Bender can on my SRX for a couple of years and although it sounds great, it does get rather annoying after a long day of riding. I went to a Power Inc a couple of years ago and it still has a nice sound to it, reduces weight, and actually ADDS horsepower. If you are interested in it PM me, as I am selling my sled and am taking some parts off and putting stockers back on.

I'm not to sure about the bender but I have a MBRP on my 98 and 02 and I love it! The 98 sounds slightly different then my 02 but I think that is do to the different portings between the years.
