2001 700 Mountain Max
Ride powder between 3000 and 6500
Mods - Bender pipes and Atacc

Current clutching is stock except for

Aluminum Rivets in both holes
* Yel-Wht-Yel (45 pre / 2.5 rate)
* 60deg Secondary Pre-load
I am turning about 9000rpms
How do I get it to what everyone seams to agree the target RPMs are
8500.
I am no clutch guru. I think more tip weight but am hoping for suggestions.
Thank You.

Change the inner rivet to a 4.5 gram & leave the tip as is. If you load the tip your backshift will suck. For mountain riding u want a lot of inner weight & lighten up the tip so you get good backshift climbing & in deep pow.

With what you have, you'll see a little more power if you over rev to 89 or 9 and settle at 87. Try it that little sled will run. Also a multi angle helix will make you smile.

Went for a quick burn.
Off season additions of
ATACC, 5 1/2" Rox riser, Mountain Performance Transfer kit,
and Turk's clutching all appear to be good investments.
especially the clutching and transfer kit.
Find out about ATACC when I can mountain ride
