Just got my Viper Skid and SXR shocks in:

Weekend after thanksgiving, they're getting installed.

I'm VERY much looking forward to having more suspension. Any tips on getting this setup correctly? I'm 160lbs and jump... a lot.
 
Sort of off Topic but is the stock SRX suspension 2001 better than 96 Vmax XT stock? Worth buying at a good price?
 
Hey Jigg sorry about the transfer rods..seen the other post.

I painted my springs with white car paint and it worked well. Painted them last season ans they still look good.
 
No need to be sorry, i bought them full well knowing what they fit. I ended up getting a new skid, so it's time to find some that will work with the new skid.

Thanks for the heads up on the car paint. I'd like to have them powder coated, but i'd rather paint them myself. Would that VHT stuff work too? That comes in spray cans right?
 
Painted them up today... looks a lot nicer in person than in the pics. I think i may end up panting them silver, we'll see:
