I have an ET240B that isn't getting any spark, have checked the normal stuff, ignition switch, cutoff switch ...etc and they all seem fine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this sled?

CDI box wire on them is weak - look into that.
Doesn't appear to have a CDI box, or at least one I can find. Can you tell me where it's located?

It's been a while - but if I remember right it's right on top of the engine in the front - there is a single wire that comes out of in and had a terminal ion it - the wire get really hot and may have a bad connection. I just looked and it's actually the part the plug wire comes out of - there is another wire - check that connection. here's a pic - check wires at the bottom of # 5 and #6 for good connections.

We had the coil wire break on ours but it was in a place you really couldn't see. I bought a new coil and it fired right up.

I'm thinking a bad coil or a bad connection near the coil as well. Check all your connections for corrosion or a break in the wire. If it all looks good then try a new coil.

Pulled the coil off and had it tested at a small engine repair shop, checked out fine. Also went through the wiring harness and connectors, all looks good. So guess I'm back to needing a wiring diagram so I can verify all of the connections with an ohm meter.

Could be bad tether switch. Mine was replaced with a push-button on/off switch. I plan on getting a new tether soon.
Already checked the tether switch, the stop/run switch next to the right hand grip, and the igntion switch, all checked fine with an ohm meter. Begining to think it might be a magneto problem but not sure how to test this. There's three wires that come out of the engine block, a ground, a black wire and a orange wire.

That sled has points in it. The wires would some times break behind the cover. Also when we first had ours the first weekend the coil feed wire rubbed on the hood and engine causing a short and no spark.
