Hi. I have an '02 viper that just died the other day, no spark. I couldn't figure it out until finally I happened to unplug the regulator (located by the pullcord above the foot hoop) and plug it back in and it fired right up. I'm not sure how hot the regulator is supposed to get, but it gets pretty smokin hot to the touch. I've had the wire harness problem where the wires rub under the sled, but its fixed now and somehow maybe it has hurt my regulator/rectifier. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue with the heat.
