SRX is a great machine and very fast. I believe
there was a crank recal on that machine.
They are just slightly slower then then 2000-2001 SRX
Reliability and gas mileage is excellent on these sleds.

Check for stretched or broken powervalve cables or pulled thru powervalves themselves. Also check w arm in skid for any cracks. Check primary clutch to see if the shives have any cracks in em. Do a compression check.

ted you want to run a 2000 or newer....stock for stock the 2000 or later woops the 99....I've seen a 99 with bender clutch kit get 17 mpg.....that is no bull...still goes really good...depends on what you want to do....if your going racing you will want a 2000 or newer.

Ted, Recall was on the 98 and only select view early 99s. Check the motor number with a dealer they should be able to help. I had well over 9000 miles on mine and ran hard all day! Put a clutch kit and longtravel the rear and you will be happy! I got mine from Max Perf , I think the clutch kit was #4 and they take your factory shocks and convert to long travel for around 350.00. The track got bad at about 7000 miles and I put a ripsaw 1.25" on it and wow what a differance it made! Buy it you will like it!!!!!!! Enjoy Bluebullet
