Hey, I'm having my hood painted but want to ride in the new fallen snow. Would it hurt to ride without a hood?

prob not as long as you dont get any snow on the motor...I dont think the pipes/heads would like the snow when hot...

You should run a powder snow prefilter on intake, SLP or MTN preformance has them.
Pipes and motor will not care unless you really bury it in ths snow. Brakes still work, clutch can get a little iffy with too much powder.

I usually ride the entire month of april with no hood because there is still lots of snow in the mountains but the air temp gets quite warm during the day. You gain quite a lot of power from the cold air and the sled wheelies all day long(the hood and gauges weigh about 25 lbs) unless you get a lot of snow on the clutches you will be fine.
