cylinder heads need to be tightened to 17 psi, how about the cylinders to the crank case how many psi? this is for a 1997 sx vmax 600 twin, thanks.

Wrong sort of.
Following the pattern the top cylinder/head bolts are a 2 step 9.4 ft-lbs then 17 ft-lbs
The cylinder/block is 24 ft-lbs
Spark Plugs incendently are 14 ft-lbs, And the coolant drain bolt is 17 ft-lbs.
