Does anyone know if the bars on a viper are wider than an SRX? I have a 98 SRX and find the bars are kind of narrow. I though about changing them out for viper ones.

Viper and '01 and newer sxr bars are wider than the srx ones, two inches wider, makes a big difference.

i have a 98 srx600 and an 02 viper and after I bought the viper I HATED the bars on my SRX.. they are not only narrower but seem to have more of a V like shape to them if you know what I mean, like a different angle..... the Viper bars are much nicer and easier to pull on when handling the sled through corners and such... Jeff
I thought they might be wider. I wonder if everything on the SRX bars will fit the viper bars. If so I may look around for some viper ones.
It should fit, I had a 98 SX Vmax and changed the bars to 02 Viper bars and it worked fine. I really like the ride after that change, the sled handled better.

yea it should also swap right over to the viper bars
