I have a set of brand new FOX clicker that I wanted to mount on my old sno pro but i sold it. Is there any way to mount them to my viper? has anyone done anythng like this that could help me? Also if there is anyway to mount them without and serous modification just incase I want to go back to the viper shocks. thanks guys

Here's a pic of the bracket I made. It bolts through the old mounting hole, so it's removable. There is also a bolt on the backside to hold it to the bulkhead. I can't take any pics right now cause my camera took a $hit. I will have the shocks apart in a week, so I could give you the valving set-up I ended up with.

did you have to have to make any modifcation to the spindles or trailing arms? or anything else? or just to the top mount? because arent fox shocks a longer travel then the stock yamaha shocks? thanks

No mods to the trailing arms, just have to order the right bushings from Decore. The fox have more travel, and allow the suspension to "drop out" of the sled an extra inch. I run a piggy back spring on the top of the stock spring, to help get the shock extended out on the big stuff.

Pretty much the top mount, and mounting the reservoir. You can run the sno pro springs, but if you widen the front end, I suggest the stiffer yamaha springs, with a piggy back.

so use the stock springs that come with the vipers? and where did you get your piggy back spring from? how would i also get ahold of decore? thanks

Deycore does great rebuilds too! I run maxima 3wt. in the front shocks. When you get the piggys, I have a set of aluminum spacers that mate the springs, i'll sell them to ya for $15 for the set. Run the 100 pound piggy spring.

I was just looking on deycores website, and you may be able to buy the eyelet assembly, and just mate it to the fox shaft. Maybe they will do it for you? then you would not need to make the brackets i made. Call them they are very flexible.
Here's a link

Where on their site did you see that they have the hardware to mate to the clickers? or do you think i should just call and ask? And yeah i think i will buy those spacers.

Bottom of the shafts page, they sell KYB with "U" style mounts, in almost any length.

I'm assuming they are making the shafts, and installing the "U" ends.

Bad news on the piggy springs, It says they no longer sell springs. If you ask, they can probably point you in the right direction to get some.

im going the other way and making my kyb's use the fox reservior. kyb's hold up better i am told and with the addition of the fox clicker resevior you get the compression dampening adjust as well.

hey nodoo_s, how are u gon about putting the reservior on to your kyb's? because i called deycore and it may cost me up to 150$per shock just to get them to fit. and then i would have to bye piggy back springs and such and its going to add up quick. So if theres a cheaper way to take advantage of these shocks that would be nice.

$150 per shock? for what? The shafts in the snopro shocks are the right length. What the heck are they selling you? All you need would be bushings, and a fork style mount for the shaft.

Nodoo does have a great alternative, you can put the clickers on the KYB shocks. You would need to soften up the compression valving though.

You guys gotta see the resses i'm going with on my M-10. Ryde FX high/low speed compression adjust, they are sweet!!!!!!!!
Hay days specials, next time I'm bringing more money!!!!!!

They said it would be either around 75$ or 150$ per shock depending on what they need to do to them. they said i would need the U eyelets and the bushings with probably a new lower eyelet. and then the service for all that.
