1" Predator hands down for all around riding. If you are going to be on mainly hard pack, then I recommend you either the 1" predator or the 1" hacksaw. Cant go wrong with either track for your riding styles. We have plenty in stock if you are interested. Shoot me a PM if you are still looking for one. Thanks

tracks
I know a few guys around my area and they swear by the 1 1/4 shotgun track, one of them has it on a 2003 XCR 800 with 48 studs and i can tell you that there is no lack of hooking up by any means

Exactly what I was thinking. I have 1" 6 pitch Predator (9818 or 9838 cant remember which) on my viper (its a 136") I love it. Tough track. I beat the snot out of it, held up well.

I went with the 1 in predator from cb. It seemed to be the best all around track out there.! And no top speed loss!

I no longer have an SRX but I would go with the 1 in predator, stay away from the ripsaws. just my opinion

if you need every last mph of top speed then get a 1". if you want better acceleration on the trail a 1.25" will kill the best 1" track every time.

I picked up an 6 pitch Predator from CB. No probs w/ the track and got a great deal on it.

If u ever want to run studs forget about a 1.25 track.Unless u want to change ur drivers and gears. What good is a 1.25 if ur on any ice with no studs? no good at all. There is a good reason most people are now using 1 in, 6 pitch with studs. My last 01 srx had 1.25 rip saw.no studs. all set with that!

im talking about studded vs. studded and not studded vs. not studded. im sure you can regear and get used drivers for $100. personally i would spend the little extra time and money to get superior traction.srx dreamer said:If u ever want to run studs forget about a 1.25 track.Unless u want to change ur drivers and gears. I am just now replacing the predator track on my sled. Track has 9000k and still looks good. Broke the suspension and tore up the inside of track and clips all broke. Time for a new one, sticking with the predator, 144 pre-drilled in the center. Very durable and good traction, no slider issues either.

Thats awesome! I can only hope to get that kind of miledge. How did u find the track to work in hard packed snow?
