Cleaning Carbs

Does anyone know if it's safe to run Carburetor/Injector cleaner through your sled? I'm just wondering if this would be a good alternative to taking off the carbs and cleaning them after summer storage.

It will not clean them as well.

I've never heard of any one trying that. You can pull the carbs, clean them, and reinstall them in an hour or so.

i just clean out the throat real good hit up the main jets and clean the pilots

Make sure the floats and needles are clean and working properly

The stuff you mix w/ the fuel will never get the carbs as clean as taking them off and cleaning em.
Just take the carbs off and get it done

correct me if i'm wrong but dosen't this stuff react poorly with some rubbers ie. the pickup tube in the tank. or possibly in the fuel pump?

I was told to never put any addative in the tank of a 2 cycle other then maybe fuel stabelizer.
