Exciter pipes - interchangeable?

Hello,
I'm wondering if the pipes from a '91 - '93 Exciter will fit a 87-90.
Looking at a pipe off a 91 for my 90 LE

Should fit, but the Y pipe on a '93 is shorter. Can't remember when Yami shortened the Y pipe. For a while it was a noted mod that yamaha finally caught up with.
