Hi guys: I know there's a few guys running reverse on here on their SRX. I got mine all mounted tonite, bit of a chore to fit shifter, but not too bad. I have a question on the oil level. There is a 6mm bolt on the outside of the case with a rubber washer, is this the fill level, fill till it runs out? This would be 700 or 800ml.
Also are you guys running 23/38 gears with a 70 link chain? That's what I have, seems fairly long, wondering if it should be 68 link.

I just did an install on a 03 viper. If this bolt that you’re talking about is about mid height and left of centre, than this bolt with the rubber washer is the rear gear idler shaft bolt…it’s there to stabilize the shaft to the outer case cover and not the fill bolt hole…on the dipstick there should be two level indications, none reverse (standard) on one side and reverse level on the other side. I am assuming the viper is the same as yours…let me know if this helps out…
