Hand warmers

the variable temp hand warmer don't work, can they be trouble shot an repaired or do you just remove an replace it ? if it can be repaired where can I get the drawings SID

I had that problem on a MTN SRX that i owned. The problem came out to be that one of the grips were not working at all making the entire circuit open since they are wired in series. if one doesnt work, none of them will.

I have had a dim head light problem & have been testing all the electrical connections etc I found a wire from the hand warmer dial that had broken the solder could check there! I have a 97 Sx 600 & they run from the regulator above the right foot well , have to get a tester & start looking for shorts & such
