Hauck roller secondary

Just wondering what kind of helix a 99 srx 700 would like with a hauck secondary. I got it for free and i still have to tune my primary with my new set of heel clickers. I heard that if I was using a stock 47 deg that a roller sec. would like a helix 5 deg less like a 42 degree. Is that true?

By the way this site is A1 everybody has tons info and alot of experience running and tunning yamaha sleds. And they don't mind sharing a few tricks.

When you say take do you mean fit or will work well with a stock 45 deg helix? ( good set-up)

By the way Norwegian that is the most open water I have ever seen an srx do without sinking. Did you have to make any chassis or some other kind of mod?
 
What I by mean "stock" helixes, is that the roller will take stock like helixes, you don't have to use special helixes especially for that roller, like you have to do with advant edge, stock helixes can be used with the hauck roller. The waterchannel in the avatar is not open river, but water over the ice, I think maybe a feet or so. What is done to the sled is that the holes and cracks where water comes in, are clogged/siliconed. Like, where bellypan plastic meets the metal part of the frame. On your left foot side, under the secondary clutch to the primary clutch if you know what I mean. There are holes up on top of the front heat exchanger, but I haven't siliconed them yet, cause they are good to have because when I ride in powder and stop afterwards, the water will drain out, not be left in the chassis. The downside is that I have to have some speed before hitting water, otherwise the belt will get wet and I will go slower and slower.. But an easy fix. I have the whole video on my pc if you want that
