I need to have exhaust gaskets made for my psi twin pipes as the old ones were pretty messed up when I took them off the motor pre-rebuild. I have gone to a couple of autoparts stores looking for exhaust gasket material. I thought I remembered being able to buy exhaust gasket material and then cutting it to fit whatever I needed. Would this be the best? Should I try to find a univeral gasket that will fit? Thanks.
I picked up some rol gasket material. It doesn't say anything about exhaust gaskets. Will this work?

the ones I put on, really just looked like automotive style gaskets. One place they showed me an exhaust gasket from a 1964 galaxy witha big block and it matched up pretty good. The only thing was that it had a metal ring at the center. I wasn't sure if that would mess up the mating surface.

If nothing else it would help with blow out.(metal ring )
unless that wouldn't let it seat right???

Blow out the gasket
They were cheap. Like $1.40 each. I could grab one and see how it fits.
