I just read in Snow Tech about a practice some guys have of cleaning the carbon out of the inside of their pipes and wondered how many,if any, guys here do it?I cant say as I have really ever thought of doing this to a 2 stroke exhaust but what I dont know about the combustion process and carbon buildup would fill alot of books. Not trying to insiuate that I'm a complete idiot but does Yamaha really have much of a history of problems like this?Just wondering.

I always do this when ever I take my exhaust out, not sure if it helps but it makes me feel better performance wise. I get it to a nice polish on the inside of my headers.
What is your prefered method of doing this 2000srx?

Well I obviously cannot clean the inside of the entire pipe so whenever I take my exhaust off I just take almost like a porting bit on a air powered spinning tool and I grind/buff the headers till I see a nice silver color out of them. I dont believe there is really a benefit to it inless otherwise stated but I do it anyways.
