I am not sure I am ready to ditch my Viper and go 4 stroke next year. So I am thinking about a new skid and track next year. Does anyone have any comments on which skid rides better in a Viper, Bovin Expert or M10?
Thanks, G.B.

Just my opinion, but it depends what you are looking for....performance or plush ride. If you want performance and not to sacrifice holeshot or gain alot of track spin, go with the Expert. I you are a casual trail cruiser and looking for a super plush ride, go with the M-10. Dont get me wrong, the M-10 gives a GREAT ride.
I put the M-10 in my 01 SRX 3 years ago and would have put the Expert in if I could do it over again. This due to a couple factors I experienced with the M-10. Performance loss (top end and track spin) and a couple of broken parts due to aggressive riding style. And the Expert seems to be built a little more bulletproof.
Do a search though as there are many posts with comparisons of the two set-ups.

Go to the tech section, they have a comparison of the two they did on an RX1. Me, i would go with the Expert X. I like the idea of no top end lose and lots of weight transfer in the rear. And it will still ride better then your viper does now by a long shot.
I would agree with the previous posts. Again it all depends on your style of riding. If you ride aggressive, ride rough stuff, ditch bang, do some jumping, probably better off with the Expert. If you mostly trail ride, and don't mind lack of transfer and some top end loss, M10.

Thanks to everyone for your input. It sounds like I should consider the Bovin Expert X for my type of riding. I am not really into ditch banging or jumping. I am looking to keep up with the couple Firecats and Rev Renegades that I ride with when the trail gets rough.
All this does prompt another question. Any difference in these two skids off trail in the powder?
Thanks, G.B.
