How much cylinder porting do you need to have done before case porting is going to benifit you? I dont really know much about case porting so any info would be cool. i want to get some trail porting done and an wondering is i should haved the case ported or not?

if you're just after trail performance, you'd have to be pretty rich before it seemed like a good idea. One really nice thing about case porting is that it's not gonna hurt your piston or ring like like cylinder porting can. the downside is that it's usually very expensive when compared to cylinder porting, and the gains aren't as large.
I just had a sx engine case ported along with trail ported cylinders by mrviper 700
