05 rx-1 front shocks in a srx?


no. the four stroke shocks are 1/2 wider, so you would have to grind off the bushings on them or have modified brackets. also will need to be recalibrated for the sled because the weight on them by the sled alone is different. plus they are quite a bit longer than srx shocks so it would drastically change the geometry of the front end (would not corner like on rails anymore). you would need longer rods and possibly have to figure out where the mount for the shock on the trailing arm should go to get it back to the correct geometry. this is just what i've found out through my research on long traveling. hope this helps.
 
You can get a set of the rx-1 ohlins heim for the shaft end. They are about 1 inch longer, no travel, just ride height. Maxdlx
