I have seen a lot of used performance exhaust pipes both on thsi site and on eBay. What should I be looking for in terms of condition to determine the condition of the pipe?
Cosmetically, one can look at whether the unit was a repaint or is dented, etc.?
What about the actual "mechanics" (internal functionality) of the pipe.
I know if it rattles that is not a good sign.
What else?
Thanks.

What I've seen is Aftermarket pipes are lighter weight, with thinner metal and I've had pipes fatigue and start to crack with age.
