Hi guys !
I have a 1999 SRX 700 136" 2" .
Last season (my first on this sled) I noticed that it was very hard to get the skis of the ground, also it steered very good, so I think I can adjust to more track "pressure" without worrying too much about the steering.
I`ve never done any adjustments to a sled skid, so forgive me if I sound stupid.
Is it possible to make any adjustments to help lift the front end up ?.
I guess it will climb better if the skis are dragging less.. if you know what I mean.
Wellwell
Joakim

Lifting the front end up will actually slow you down. it takes a LOT of horsepower to lift that HEAVY front end... just ask the grass guys!!!! (a joke)
put a set off transfer rods in it, back them off this will help, also if you long travel the sled this will help, i have a 121 long traveled with rods and its like a grass hopper.
Gi guys thanks for the replies.
I might have used the wrong "term", I think what I want to do is decrease the ski pressure?.
The previous owner removed something from the skid, I think it`s called "rod control" or something, after watching the microfiche. He said he did it because the sled would wheelie better?.
Hm
