Custom sled build photos - Updated Dec. 6th

Here's some beginning photos of the build. It's a 2001 SRX, powered by a 1200 motor. Polished tunnel, soon to be all black and shiny :) I will post more pics are the build continues if anyone is interested.

So far I have polished the tunnel and bulkhead, thrown on the black bellypan, bumper, rear bumper cover, had the seat upholstered black, black grips and pad. The entire front end is out being powdercoated black and chrome, and the rails are out being powdercoated black as well.

I have 8 billet idlers on order from Mountain Machines....two 8" for the rear, two 7" for the top, and four 5.5" for the front. It should look good against the black rails.

Carb Adapters to fit the monster 48's. These are built by Price Performance.

What does Price Performance figure the hp will be on that? Are you setting it up for pump fuel? Are you building the pipes yourself or buying the Price ones ready made?
I love monster bores, we need more of them, or Don Pizor needs to get on the ball and start reworking GP1300 watercraft motors for us!!!!! Sign me up!!

I am not going with anything by Price, other than the billet carb adapters. HTG Racing is building the motor with their cylinders. Jaws is going to fit the custom pipes into the chassis. The HP should be in the 270 range on pump fuel, and 160 ft. lbs. of torque.

Here's a link of one of Rob's 1200 motors.

And that motor was only with 44 megatrons, stock airbox, and an XCR800 stock exhaust canister. I am going to be running 48mm CPC carbs, filters, and jaws silencers.

Jamie, I absolutely love that V-Max in your avatar. Are you interested in selling it?

Trailable? Of course. It's my trail sled :)

1200

So is this bad boy going to be flying in North bay this year? I haven't made it to one of the ICE runs yet but i have been to www.radarruns.com and have been following the seen and wish i would have been there when Guinness book of world records was there. Do you if they are going to North Bay again this year?

North bay will be running this year. My motor won't be finished until February, so I'll be there without my sled, but will be piloting a few others. I will be there in March if there are any runs.
