Handwarmers quit working?

Could be a broken wire inside the handwarmers or to the handwarmers. Could be a bad cdi, could be a bad regulator, could even be a shorted out wiring harness (which happens to ALL of the srxs and vipers eventually)
 
Check the easy part first, a bad handwarmer. If one is bad neither will work. Take off your handlebar pad. Unplug both handwarmers, they are ran in series. Now plug each one in, individually, into the main line coming from the engine compartment. The main line has a male and female plug and each handgrip has a male and female plug. Start the sled and see if either of them gets warm. If neither works, they could both be bad. If neither works, check the wires coming in (from engine compartment) with a meter. If you do not have any voltage coming in (with sled running, of course) check the other components Yamaholic22 mentions. Hope this helps.
