Clutch set up

My viper takes off at about 4000 and maxs at 8500 is this on or off? If its off how do you set up a clutch? I dont know how to but im interested in how to.

Sounds about perfect to me. 8400 or so out of the hole, creep up to 8600 or so on the big end.

When you look down the clutch that spring you see, What color is it on a stock viper?

on the primery it should be Y-W-Y if its a 02 model you have.. yes you can see it, maybe need to turn the clutch to get to the markings..

yup Yellow-White-Yellow as he said. Sometimes the color codings get rubbed off though if its an older spring with a lot of miles on it, also could be covered in belt dust if you haven't cleaned them in a long time. If its got 4,000 miles on it its time for a new one anyway.

The spring is a gray looking color,It has about 1700 miles on it.
