problem ordering weight

I tried to order a set of 8AB's from my dealer, but when the part number got to yamaha, they changed the number and sent me 8AY's. They got the right number, then changed it and sent me stuff I didn't order! Any idea on why they would do this?

its the dealers fault not Yamaha. Order them from Rich Motor Sports or Larry at NCY .

Yep that was a dealer mistake.sometimes the part #'s do get supercedded(sp) to a newer one but the 8ab are the same.The 8ab's would be $70 shipped to you.I would get your dealer to get the right ones though.If you need help let me know.thanks rich
