help me understand clutching for my srx and what weights and helix's do

hey guys i read alot about clutching, and i get so bloody confussed everything i read something.

can you guys help with understanding them. what does the weigh do, what does the helix do and how do the numbers affect the clutching?

what is a good clutch setup for a 98 srx 700. i pretty sure everything is stock in my clutch. i would like to stay quick on top and quick getting there too. i have a port done, heads shaved, new squish angle, reed spacers, stock exhaust and 3/4" track no studs (i need to get some).
