i called my local yamaha for these gaskets and WOW you need a small loan for these things. i was told about 20 for the big ones and 30 for the small. 50 bucks a pipe. WOW is there any other place to get them cheeper. let me know thanks

LOL, that's nothing. Here in norway, one big donut costs 96 usd. Yes one. I ordered from richierich for 18 a piece.

What is the donuts on the pipes? Is it the black rubbery type stuff on the ends of the pipe that are tapered to fit back into the holes on the silencer? The reason I ask is I just took my pipes and silencer off and will be pauuting them back on this weekend.

The Donut Off Of The Exhaust Manifold Can Be Found At A Local Carquest Store. There Part Number Is 9051. It Costs Around 3.00 Bucks. It Worked For Me. It Is A Little Different But It Worked. Hope This Helps Out!

well someone goofed......i don't see how the carquest gasket would work
it's way to big,,you can put the oem one inside it it's so big,so do not see
how this is suppose to work, posted a pic of the two,the OEM one on the
right and the carquest #9051 on the left,i didn't even take it out of the
package because i'm going to return it,i stopped in at my dealer and just
got 3,to hell with it...

I wonder daman if you measured the ID of the exhaust donut and gave them the measurement if they could find one the same. Only reason I ask is I had a similar situation the other day with the g/f's tracker. The right part was much to big so I went back, gave them the ID and they were able to match the proper one back up. I wonder if they could do the same with the sled donuts??

yea may try that for future reference, when i return this here i'll ask..

i wonder why someone thought this one would work,it's way wrong
i don't even think you could cut it and take a piece out because it's got
a steel core inside..

lol ya that definately would not fit at all. And they are extremely hard to make fit since the core is still, start screwring around with them and your bound to make them leak when ya finally do get them on the way ya want.

lol..yea so that's why i said #$%&* it and got 3 OEM one's,,,still hard to
sit down after returning from my dealer... :Moon:
