Once these gaskets are compressed once can they be re-used????? I sprayed my SRX base gasket with copper gasket spray cause I compressed it once, and found a chip in one of the cylinders so I removed it. Should I do the same with the headgasket or no? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The Rule Of Thumb Is Yes Change It Every Time You Take It Off , But Being The Cheap *** I Am I Think I Reused My Opticool Gasket Maybe Three Or Four Times And Had No Problems ....i Guess I Just Got Lucky ....

ive reused my stock head gasket. i believe im on my third time (and last) with no problems....i guess i got lucky too. but i did spray the crap out of it with copper and waited for it to get tacky before installing.
