hey,

one of my friends offered me a set of stock pipes off of his srx (never used) and i got a 2003 venture 700 triple. would this fit?, would this add horse power?, would it hurt my motor?, how much hp dose a 2003 venture 700 have?.........i would be great if anyone could answer some of these questions.

yhe srx would not bolt right onto your venture. This would require alot of fabrication work and modifications to make these pipes work..in my opinion not worth the trouble when you can buy pipes for your sled used fairly inexpensive.

First of all you would need to buy a hood and belly pan because the pipes wouldn't fit with what you have you would need the srx hood and belly pan they are wider and the hood has the hump on the rt side to accomidate the pipes.

Its a completely differnt motor, bore, stroke exhaust flange pattern, differnt bellypans, motor mounts, none of it will work. There is hope however, they make all kinds of pipes to fit the sled, same as a mtn max,sx,sxr chassis.

thanks alot guys u saved me alot of money. maybe next season when i make my venture into a 144'' mnt max ill get bender or slp pipes.

thanks guys...... :2strokes:

The bender pipes work a little better on the SX SXR 700 tripples than the SLP's. But on a viper, The SLP's are better than benders. And only pipes to better
An SRX is the power inc's which are no longer around.
